What is stored on your phone

Your alarms and their missions, your settings, your wake-up history and alarm log, reference photos for Photo match, codes for QR missions, tracked nights, and snore clips if you turn that on. All of it stays in the app's private storage on your phone.

Permissions and why

• Notifications and full-screen alarms show the ringing alarm, including on the lock screen.
• Exact alarms make alarms ring on time.
• Camera is used only for camera missions (Photo, QR / Barcode, Object hunt). Images are checked live on the phone and are never uploaded.
• Physical activity counts steps for the Steps mission and tracks movement during sleep tracking.
• Microphone is used only for snore recording, which is off unless you turn it on. Clips are saved on the phone only.
• Start at boot re-arms your alarms after the phone restarts.

Each permission is asked only when you use the feature that needs it.

Sharing

We do not collect, sell or share any data. We never see your data. A backup file goes only where you choose to save it.

Deleting your data

Delete alarms, nights, photos and clips in the app at any time. Uninstalling UthJa deletes everything it stored.

Children

UthJa is a general alarm clock and does not knowingly collect anything from anyone, including children.

This website

uthja.in is a static page. It sets no cookies and runs no analytics or trackers. Our host keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and time of request) to deliver and protect the site. Fonts load from Google Fonts.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
